PRAGUE CARLSBAD CLASSIC
Prague Carlsbad Classic is an exceptional event for motorsport fans and everyone who loves classic cars, likes stylish social events and gourmet experiences and meets new friends. This exceptional event was founded in 2010 when the first year was run on the route Prague - Karlovy Vary with the philosophy of establishing a tradition. The competition has already entered its second decade and is writing an exciting history of tradition, during which six dozen crews take to the track every year to experience exceptional experiences. In the last 2023 edition, 58 cars (crews) were registered, and over 120 drivers and navigators participated.
The rally always takes the participants through the beautiful Czech countryside, where they get to know new places, friends, and interesting cars. The rally is not only social but also a sporting event. The principle of the competition is two disciplines: regularity ride and embedded stages of the hundredth measurement. Awards are given in three main categories: Oldtimer, Youngtimer, and Lady Crew. The top prize is the Prague Carlsbad Classic Grand Prix, which goes to the crew with the fewest penalty points across all categories in both disciplines.

OUR TRADITION
The Prague Carlsbad Classic has been organized since 2010. The foundation stone was laid by three friends, Radek Pokorný, Alessandro Pasquale and Marek Škréta already, in 2009, when they came up with the idea of this rally and organized the "zero" year of this race on the route Prague - Sychrov Castle. The following year, in 2010, the now traditional PRAGUE CARLSBAD CLASSIC was founded, which annually excites dozens of people and enthusiasts with its sporting and social level. An informal group of friends has formed throughout its existence, which meet every year, not only at this rally. This group is becoming one big family in its second decade.

BEAUTIFUL BOHEMIAN COUNTRYSIDE
The Prague Carlsbad Classic will test the participants' motor skills and take everyone through the beautiful Czech countryside. Hundreds of kilometres through picturesque villages, towns, forests, between hills, around castles and chateaux until the cars finally cross the finish line in beautiful Karlovy Vary. The race starts in Prague at Palachov náměstí near the Rudolfinum, continues through the Engine Classic Gallery and then, in the next stage, leads through the Czech countryside to Chýše Castle, where a great lunch awaits the participants. The next stage leads to Karlovy Vary to the Grandhotel Pupp. The following years will be extended by another competition day. Therefore two more stages of regularity driving with inserted stages of hundredths measurement. In addition, the extra day will allow the crews in the following years to discover the charm of Karlovy Vary and the Ore Mountains and German Lower Saxony.
CARS WITH SOUL
At the Prague Carlsbad Classic, participants will meet beautiful youngtimer and oldtimer cars and exceptional collector's items. You can enjoy the company of rare vehicle examples of old manufacturers Wikov, Aero, Tatra, or classics from Rolls Royce, Bugatti, Porsche, Jaguar, Ferrari, BMW, American Cadillacs, or rarities such as the Mercedes Gullwing or James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from in 1964.
However, the condition for participation in the Prague Carlsbad Classic is not to own a classic vehicle but to respect noble human values and etiquette.
GLAMOUR AND ELEGANCE
The Prague Carlsbad Classic is a sports competition and a social event where new friendships are established, and existing ones are strengthened. The opening gala dinner in the ENGINE Club on the third underground floor under the Rudolfinum is under the baton of the culinary duo La Cucina and La Finestra; on the second day, the participants will be personally welcomed by Prince Lažanský for a great lunch in the family château Chýše. In the evening, the competitors will enjoy a festive cocktail in the style of "Moet et Chandon" and a dinner in the social hall of the PUPP Grandhotel while screening a cult film selected by partners from the KVIFF Group. The night show is classically fired up by entertainment in the Bechers Bar. And yes ... pack a tuxedo or cocktail dress for the trip; you'll need them!
Newly, from 2023, the second day of competition will see crews warm up their machines for the next two stages around Karlovy Vary with a spillover to Germany. The event will then close with a ceremonial announcement of the results at the final gala dinner, other than in the social hall of the Grand Hotel PUPP, and again in black tie attire.
TOGETHER FORMING TRADITION
Prague Carlsbad Classic is a traditional event. We are proud to say that we are a growing family of friends, motorsport lovers, classic cars and a mix of interesting people. We started with eight crews. Today, after thirteen years, the number is limited to 60 cars so the whole family can get to know each other well and have fun.
